The sun wasn't up when we got up at 4AM Hawaii time to watch the ISA Worlds streaming live from Sayulita, Mexico. Congratulations to GR3EN Athlete Kai Hall for taking 5th in the Prone Paddling distance event.
Kai's strong finish came on the heels of Team Hawaii's 3rd & 4th place finishes in SUP distance for Connor Baxter and Zane Schweitzer. This is Team Hawaii's first time competing in the ISA Standup Paddle & Paddleboard Championship and today's placements will boost their standings.
The day's big winner, however, is Team USA. Danny Ching led the way with a gold medal despite falling off his board in the SUP distance race and Jack Bark took silver in prone. You can catch the action at isawsuppc.com. You can see highlights there if you don't want to wake up so early. Go Kai, and go Team Hawaii!!!
